The screw spiral conveyor for de-watered sludge consists of a rotary spiral installed in a tube or channel. The spiral units are available with a central shaft or without one. The capacity of the unit can be adjusted by changing the spiral diameter or rotational speed. Conveyors are available in different lengths. Several spiral conveyors can be installed in series or in parallel in the same conveyor system.
Belt conveyors are also used for transporting de-watered sludge. The belt conveyor consists of an operating drum and an operating gear installed in a frame. A turnover drum is installed on the other end of the conveyor. The transport element is a rubber belt with track rollers placed at suitable intervals. The capacity of the conveyor depends on the belt width and selected operating speed.
Conveyors are available in different lengths. A belt conveyor can be covered with covers for improved safety. A scraper is installed in the belt conveyor for removing any remaining sludge from the belt.
The hydraulic piston pump is operated hydraulically. De-watered sludge is pumped onto a transport platform or into a container through a pressurised pipe. The piston pump pushes the sludge into the piping and then into the transport container or for further processing.
